- Good morning, this is my first journey into the area of blogging. 50 years old and not wanting to get older -- but trying to grow up. This blogg is a way of using the internet to further my options in pastel painting and protraiture. Portraits are my main interest, but the more I learn about pastels (soft "as butter", pencils and sticks, and the different papers "especially Kitty Wallis") my desire to learn more and accomplish more gets stronger. Faces interest me and I love to draw them and study them. I've included the art works that I have accomplished and will continue to add as I progress.
